On Saturday, April 11th, the Rhea County High School Best Buddies chapter hosted its annual Best Buddies Prom, and it was a night full of fun, friendship, and inclusion.
Students and buddies enjoyed snacks, music, and lots of dancing throughout the evening. The dance floor was filled with energy as everyone came together to celebrate the friendships they’ve built over the year in a welcoming and supportive environment.
A special feature of the night was the Sensory Room, created as a calm and quiet space for friends who needed a break from the louder music and bright lights. Inside the Sensory Room, students also enjoyed playing bingo with prizes, which added a fun and relaxing activity for those who preferred a more low-key setting.
A special thank you goes out to the Best Buddies officers and advisors for their hard work and dedication in planning and putting on such a meaningful and memorable event. Their efforts helped make the night possible and ensured that everyone had a great experience.
The Best Buddies Prom was a wonderful reminder of what makes the program so special—ensuring that every student feels included, supported, and celebrated.
